Where Educational Expertise Meets Family and Community Connection
LearnLink Consulting LLC helps schools, museums, nonprofits, and family-serving organizations create stronger educational programs, deepen family engagement, and turn research-informed ideas into meaningful practice.
About LearnLink Consulting
LearnLink Consulting LLC is a Baltimore-based education consulting company founded by Dr. Kayon DePina, a licensed educator, literacy interventionist, consultant, author, program designer, and professional-learning facilitator.

Dr. DePina’s work is shaped by years of experience supporting scholars, educators, families, and community organizations, as well as her personal perspective as a mother and Learning Partner. She understands that educational progress is strongest when schools, families, and communities are prepared to work together.

LearnLink partners with schools, museums, nonprofits, community organizations, and family-serving agencies to strengthen early literacy, develop meaningful programs, deepen family engagement, prepare educators and facilitators, and support thoughtful implementation.

Dr. DePina specializes in translating research and educational theory into practical tools, resources, and learning experiences that people can use. Her areas of expertise include foundational literacy, curriculum and program development, professional learning, two-generational practice, family engagement, and implementation support.

She is also the founder of The Scholar Experience Inc. and the creator of The Scholar Experience™ and the SAMFIT framework. Depending on the needs of a partner, LearnLink services may incorporate selected components and methods of The Scholar Experience™, including family-learning structures, Scholar Packs, readiness supports, and home-practice resources

We design shared learning experiences that bring scholars and Learning Partners together to strengthen skills, confidence, and connection.

Mission
LearnLink Consulting LLC strengthens educational programs, family partnerships, and learning experiences through research-informed consulting, program development, professional learning, and implementation support.

Rooted in early literacy and two-generational practice, we help organizations create meaningful pathways for scholars, Learning Partners, and educators to learn and grow together.

Vision
We envision educational systems where organizations, educators, families, and communities work together intentionally, and where every scholar is supported by a connected network of prepared and confident Learning Partners.

Philosophy
We believe meaningful learning happens when scholars, Learning Partners, educators, and communities are intentionally connected.

Families are not guests in the learning process. They are essential partners. Educators need practical tools, organizations need clear systems, and scholars need learning experiences that affirm who they are while helping them grow.

LearnLink brings these pieces together through research-informed practice, thoughtful program design, and two-generational approaches that strengthen both learning and relationships.
